The Difference You Can Make
With your contribution, the Hospice of Lake Cumberland can continue to serve thousands of patients and their families by providing physical and emotional support during life’s most challenging times. Your contributions help our team of nurses, social workers, physicians, counselors, hospice aids and more. Thanks to you, we can serve our patients and exceed their needs and expectations. From the team at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland, we thank you for your support. Without you, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do. Thanks to your contribution, our patients continue to receive the best medical care and emotional support in their most trying times.
Patient Care: General Giving
We rely on funding and contributions from our donors, who, for the last 30 years, have supported us every step of the way. Our patients are never charged for hospice services not covered by insurance and no patient is ever turned away because of inability to pay or no insurance coverage.
The financial pressure of health care plans can weigh heavily on an individual and their family. At times in life, when attentive medical care and support is crucial, health bills should be the last thing on your mind.
If you’d like to donate to the Hospice of Lake Cumberland, know that your contribution will be used to make the last days of someone’s life more comfortable and pain-free or help bereaved members of our community process and work through their grief.
All donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland are tax deductible.

Donate to our Children’s Bereavement Program/Camp Promise
Join Us in Nurturing Young Hearts: Be a Part of Our Children’s Bereavement Program. Your generous support directly sustains this essential program, ensuring that families are never faced with financial barriers when their children seek assistance.
Grief is a uniquely challenging experience for children, and the wounds left by loss must be acknowledged with great care to initiate the healing process. Our bereavement program is a haven for young hearts, provided without any financial burden. It’s a service that welcomes all children, extending beyond the confines of a ‘hospice family.’
By contributing to this program, you’re not only assisting children in processing their grief, but also embracing a community-wide commitment to support the emotional well-being of our youth during times of profound loss. Your generosity can make a meaningful impact on their healing journey.
Donate to Fulfill a Patient’s Bucket List Request
The Hospice of Lake Cumberland Bucket List program is dedicated to helping our patients fulfill a cherished item from their personal bucket list. This initiative is ideally suited for patients who receive early care and can be stabilized.
Some memorable bucket list activities we’ve arranged include a father’s journey to witness his son’s “opening day” football game, despite it being a considerable distance away. Another patient simply yearned for a ride in a convertible with the top down, accompanied by their faithful dog. One individual wished to experience the joy of fishing one more time, while a young girl, with a deep love for balloons, had her home adorned with a colorful spectacle of balloons in every shade.
These are just a few examples of the meaningful Bucket List requests we’ve fulfilled with the generous support of your donations.
